Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Echozat ("Echozat", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the Echozat website located at echozat.com, its subdomains, and all tools, plugins, extensions, scripts, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform in any way — including browsing the website, installing a plugin, purchasing a product, or subscribing to any service — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

About the Platform

Echozat is a growth-focused tools platform that curates and distributes digital utilities for founders, marketers, and developers. The Platform includes, but is not limited to:

• WordPress Plugins — Utilities that extend WordPress functionality for SEO, monetization, performance, and content management.
• Shopify Apps — Apps designed to enhance e-commerce operations, conversion, and revenue growth on Shopify stores.
• Chrome Extensions — Browser-based tools that improve productivity and workflow for digital marketers and builders.
• Google Apps Script Utilities — Scripts and automation tools for Google Workspace users.

Echozat reserves the right to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any product or feature on the Platform at any time, with or without prior notice.

Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• Not be prohibited from accessing or using the Platform under applicable laws.

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. If you do not meet these requirements, you must not access or use the Platform.

Accounts & Access

Certain features of the Platform may require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

Echozat reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information you provide is found to be inaccurate, false, or in violation of these Terms.

You may not share your account credentials with others or use another person's account without their explicit permission.

Licenses & Products

Free Products

Products distributed by Echozat that are listed as free — including plugins available on WordPress.org — are provided under their respective open-source licenses (typically GPL v2 or later for WordPress plugins). Use of such products is governed by those licenses in addition to these Terms.

Paid Products

Upon completing a valid purchase, Echozat grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the purchased product for your personal or commercial projects, subject to the scope defined at the point of purchase (e.g. single-site, multi-site, agency licence).

• You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share access to any paid product.
• Licences are non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Use of a product beyond the purchased licence scope requires an upgrade.

Updates & Support

Where a product includes access to future updates, those updates will be made available for the duration of the active licence period. Echozat does not guarantee perpetual update access beyond the terms stated at the point of sale.

Payments & Refunds

Payments

All prices displayed on the Platform are in the currency stated at checkout. Echozat uses third-party payment processors to handle transactions securely. By making a purchase, you authorise the applicable payment processor to charge your selected payment method.

Echozat is not responsible for any fees, charges, or currency conversion costs imposed by your bank or payment provider.

Refunds

Echozat offers a 14-day refund window for paid products purchased directly through echozat.com, subject to the following conditions:

• The refund request must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date.
• Refunds will not be issued if the product has been substantially used, deployed on a production environment for more than 3 days, or if the refund request is made in bad faith.
• Products purchased through third-party marketplaces (e.g. WordPress.org premium add-ons via external stores) are subject to that marketplace's refund policy.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to the Echozat name, logo, tagline ("Amplify Growth. Simplify Everything"), website design, graphics, written content, product code (except GPL-licensed components), and documentation — is the exclusive intellectual property of Echozat or its licensors.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works based on Echozat's proprietary content or branding without prior written consent.
• Use Echozat's name, logo, or trademarks in any manner that suggests endorsement without permission.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any proprietary software component of a paid product.

GPL-licensed products retain their open-source freedoms as required by the GPL license, including the right to study, modify, and redistribute the source code under the same licence terms.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Platform or any Echozat product to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
• Distribute malware, spam, or any form of harmful code.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform in an automated manner without written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, our servers, or third-party systems connected to it.
• Impersonate Echozat or any other person or entity.
• Use any product to build a competing service or tool that is substantially similar to an Echozat product.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or licensing mechanism of our products.
• Engage in any activity that places an unreasonable load on Platform infrastructure.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your access without refund and may be subject to legal action.

Third-Party Services

Echozat products are often designed to integrate with third-party platforms and services, including WordPress, Shopify, Google Workspace, and various Chrome APIs. Echozat is not responsible for:

• The availability, performance, or accuracy of third-party platforms or APIs.
• Changes made by third parties to their platforms that affect the functionality of Echozat products.
• Any data you submit to or receive from third-party services through our products.

Your use of third-party services is subject to those services' own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review them before use.

The Platform may contain links to external websites. These links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement or responsibility for the content of those external sites.

Disclaimers

The Platform and all Echozat products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Echozat disclaims all warranties including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the Platform.

Echozat does not warrant that any product will produce specific business outcomes, including but not limited to improvements in search rankings, revenue growth, or conversion rates. Results will vary based on individual use, market conditions, and factors outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Echozat and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
• Damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform or any product.
• Damages resulting from unauthorised access to or alteration of your data or transmissions.

In jurisdictions where limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of certain damages are not permitted, our liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law.

In any case, Echozat's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Echozat in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 5,000, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Echozat and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Platform or any Echozat product.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Any content you submit, post, or transmit through or in connection with the Platform.

Echozat reserves the right to assume exclusive control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defence of such claims.

Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Echozat's collection, use, and protection of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

In brief:

• We collect only the data necessary to operate our products and services.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
• Our free WordPress plugins do not collect or transmit user data from your site unless explicitly stated in the plugin's documentation.

Changes to Terms

Echozat reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify active users via email or a prominent notice on the Platform.

Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations between the parties. If such negotiations fail, the matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

You agree to waive any objection to the personal jurisdiction or venue in such courts.
