The short version: MirrorBloom processes your camera feed live, on your device, to mirror, zoom, and brighten it. Nothing you view or capture is uploaded anywhere. There's no account, and no image ever leaves your phone unless you choose to save or share it yourself.
Overview
MirrorBloom ("MirrorBloom", "we", "us", or "our") is a mobile app that turns your phone's camera into a proper mirror, mirrored correctly, zoomable, and brightened for low light. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app touches, how it's used, and the choices you have.
MirrorBloom is a single-purpose utility. There is no account system, no login, and no social features anywhere in the app. The camera feed you see on screen is processed live, on your device, purely to flip, zoom, and brighten it, it is not recorded, analyzed, or transmitted unless you actively choose to save or share a capture.
By using MirrorBloom, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please discontinue use of the app.
Camera Access
MirrorBloom requests camera permission for one reason only: to show you a live, mirrored, zoomed, and brightened view of yourself. This is the app's entire function.
- The camera feed (front or rear, whichever you select) is processed live and displayed on screen. It is not recorded as video, and it is not sent to any server, ours or otherwise.
- Camera access is requested on first launch, with a plain-language explanation before the native permission prompt appears.
- If you deny or later revoke camera access, the app shows a calm explanation of how to re-enable it from your phone's settings, it does not function as a mirror without this permission, since that is its core purpose.
Saved Photos & Gallery
When you tap the capture button, MirrorBloom saves a still image of exactly what's on screen, including active zoom, brightness, and (if enabled) any decorative frame, directly to your phone's native photo gallery.
- Captured images are standard photo files stored entirely on your device, in your phone's own gallery app. MirrorBloom does not upload them or transmit them anywhere.
- The app also offers a lightweight, read-only in-app gallery showing only the photos it has itself saved, purely for convenient browsing. This view is local to your device and does not sync anywhere.
- Whether captures include the active frame is controlled by a setting you choose, saved locally on your device.
What We Never Do
- We never upload your camera feed or captures. Everything, live viewing and saved photos alike, stays on your device. We have no backend that receives image data from the app.
- We never analyze what your camera sees. No facial recognition, no image analysis, no AI scanning of your reflection or captured content. The app mirrors, zooms, and brightens, nothing more.
- We never sell your data. No data brokers, no third-party data sales, no advertising built on your camera activity.
- We never require an account. There is no sign-up or login anywhere in the app, so there is no profile of you for us to build in the first place.
Ads & the One-Time Purchase
The free version of MirrorBloom is supported by light, non-intrusive advertising, shown only at natural app-open moments, and never while you're actively using the mirror, zooming, freezing, or capturing. Ads are served through a third-party ad network, which may use standard advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads; this is separate from and unrelated to your camera feed or saved photos, which the ad network never receives.
An optional one-time (non-subscription) purchase removes all ads permanently and unlocks the full frame library. This purchase is processed entirely through the App Store / Play Store's native billing APIs.
- We do not see or store your payment card details, these are handled entirely by Apple/Google.
- Your purchase/unlock status is checked locally against the app store's own purchase record on each launch. There is no Echozat account or server tracking your purchase.
- Restoring your purchase on a new device uses the app store's native "Restore Purchases" mechanism, not an email or account-based system.

We do not use any data collected by the app for profiling, tracking across other apps, or automated decision-making.
How We Share Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. Data is shared only as strictly necessary to operate the app:
- Advertising network — serves light ads in the free tier, outside of active mirror use, using standard mobile ad identifiers.
- App Store / Play Store — processes the optional one-time purchase; we never see your payment details.
- Your device's OS — camera and photo library permissions are managed entirely by your phone's operating system, not by us.
We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MirrorBloom, our users, or the public.
Data Retention
- Camera feed: Never stored. Processed live, in memory, for as long as the mirror view is open, and discarded immediately after.
- Saved photos: Retained only in your device's native gallery, for as long as you choose to keep them. We hold no copy.
- Purchase records: Retained by the App Store / Play Store per their own policies; not retained by us beyond the local, on-device unlock flag.
Your Rights & Choices
Because MirrorBloom stores almost nothing beyond what already lives on your own device, most of your rights are already satisfied by design:
Delete Anytime
Delete any saved photo directly from your phone's gallery app, at any time.
Revoke Permissions
Turn off camera or photo access at any time from your device's app settings.
Limit Ad Personalization
Use your device's OS-level controls to reset or limit ad tracking identifiers.

Security
- The camera feed is processed entirely in-memory, on-device, and is never written to disk or transmitted over a network.
- Saved photos are protected by your device's own operating system storage security, the same as any other photo you take.
- Purchase verification runs through Apple/Google's billing APIs, which use industry-standard encryption in transit.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we rely on your device's own OS-level protections and reputable platform partners, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
MirrorBloom is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after a revised policy is posted constitutes acceptance of the changes.
