The Drop Link

Share a personal link or QR code once. Anyone you trust can drop a thread straight onto your plate, no group or shared board needed.

👤

One Owner, Always

Every thread is on exactly one person, so nobody wonders who's picking it up. Accountability without a project manager.

💬

A Conversation on Every Thread

Updates live on the thread itself: a quick note, a photo of the finished job, or a voice note. No more digging through WhatsApp.

📴

Works When You're Offline

Read your plate and add updates without a signal. OpenThreads quietly syncs when you're back online.

Full Feature Set

Everything Built Around One Question: Who Has This, and By When?

OpenThreads isn't a to-do list, a CRM or a project tool. It's for the open loops that depend on a person.

01 🗂️

Trackers and Threads

Create a tracker like "Sales", "Office" or "Home", then add threads to it. Each thread has an owner, a due date, notes and its own conversation.

Personal Drop Link and QR

Every person gets a drop link that points at their Inbox. Someone scans or taps it, signs in, and drops a thread on your plate. They only see what they added.

Who It's Built For

Small Groups Who Chase Things Over WhatsApp, Paper and Spreadsheets

OpenThreads works at the level of individual people. There are no organizations, companies or workspaces to set up.

🤝

Founders and Business Partners

Two people chasing a list of companies to follow up with. Both see the same list, add updates, and see who is carrying what.

🏢

Owners and Their Office Admin

Small operational jobs that live on paper, now in one place. See what's closed, what's due and what's waiting on you without opening a spreadsheet.

🏠

Couples and Households

"That one is waiting on you." Drop an item on your partner's plate with their link, without setting up a group.

🧘

Anyone Tired of Heavy Tools

No pipelines, subtasks or reports. If a feature would make it feel like Jira, it's not here.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

What is OpenThreads?
+
OpenThreads is a shared list of things that depend on someone, with a conversation attached to each. You create trackers, add threads, say who each one is on and by when, and talk about it with text, photos and voice notes.
What is a thread?
+
A thread is something that's still open and depends on a person. It has one owner, an optional due date, notes and updates. When it's done you close it, and you can reopen it if needed.
What is a drop link?
+
A personal link or QR code that lets someone you trust drop a thread straight onto your plate. They sign in, write the thread and tap "Drop it on you". They only see the threads they added, and you can reset the link or remove people anytime.
Do I need an account?
+
Yes. Because trackers are shared, everyone signs in with Google, or Sign in with Apple on iPhone. There are no passwords to manage.
Who can see my threads?
+
Only the people you've invited to a tracker, at the role and visibility you choose. Drop-link visitors see only what they added.
Does it work offline?
+
You can read your plate and queue changes while offline. OpenThreads syncs automatically when you're back online.
Is OpenThreads a to-do app or a project manager?
+
Neither. There are no subtasks, pipelines, custom fields or reports. It's simpler than a project tool, more accountable than a to-do list and quicker than a spreadsheet.
Is it free?
+
OpenThreads is free to start. Any limits or paid plans introduced later will be announced in the app.

Stop Chasing. Start Closing.
